A Compact Module for Your Starting Ant Colony with Two Test Tubes
A queen ant doesn't require much space in the ant farm. This starting nest is ideal for the initial phase (founding phase) of your new ant colony. Place your queen ant in one of the two test tubes, which serve as a formicarium, and observe how she and the colony develop.

A PLA outworld (3D printed) measuring 5x5cm A separate white removable inner part made of PLA (3D printed) 2x test tubes measuring 16x100 A 3mm transparent acrylic outworld cover with ventilation holes 5 nest ports: 2 closed ports to seal off the outworld 1 open port if you wish to expand the small outworld with a tube 2 "test tube nest connectors" compatible with any module from our collection Two O-rings for a secure sealing of the test tubes • The white removable inner part is perfect if the exterior is a different color than white, ensuring you can always see the ants clearly. • The port with an opening can accommodate a small tube (OD 10mm) or a large tube (ID 12mm) (not included). • Feeding your new colony in the outworld is easy by lifting the acrylic plate. • You can securely attach the two test tubes to the outworld with a twisting motion. The O-rings ensure a perfect seal and prevent the test tubes from coming loose on their own. • There is space beneath the test tubes for a possible heating cable.
OPTIONS: • The small outworld is available in multiple colors.
• An extra Outworld Extension is available, allowing you to elevate your mini outworld to accommodate a liquid feeder (1 or 2 ml) if your new colony requires more liquid, especially when you're away for some time.
• Additional individual test tube nest connectors can be ordered separately.
• Various types of nest ports can also be ordered separately.
• You can separately purchase nest legs that elevate your module slightly, allowing space for a heating cable to pass underneath:
