A small outworld for your ant colony with two test tubes.
A new colony doesn't require much space in the ant farm. This starter nest is ideal for the initial phase (founding phase) of your new colony. Place your queen in one of the two test tubes, which serves as a formicarium, and observe her development.
Included in this set:
The PLA (3D printed) outworld, 5x5cm in size.
A separate white removable inner part, also PLA (3D printed).
2x test tubes, each measuring 16x100mm.
3mm transparent acrylic outworld cover with air holes.
4 nest ports: 3 closed to seal the outworld and 1 open in case you want to expand the small outworld.

• The white removable inner part is useful if the exterior is a different color from white, ensuring easy visibility of the ants.
• A small hose (OD 10mm) or a larger one (ID 12mm) (not included) can be attached to the port with an opening.
• You can easily provide food to your new colony in the outworld by lifting the acrylic plate.
• The two test tubes can be easily attached to the outworld with a twisting motion. The O-rings ensure a perfect seal and prevent the test tubes from coming loose.
• There's space beneath the test tubes for a potential heat cable.
OPTIONS:
• The small outworld is available in various colors.
• An extra Outworld Extension is available. This allows you to raise your mini outworld to accommodate a liquid feeder (1 or 2 ml) if your new colony requires more liquid while you're away, for example.
• Additional and different types of nest ports can be purchased separately.
• Separate nest legs are available for purchase, which elevate your module slightly, allowing space for a heat cable to pass underneath.

The modular system is easily expandable with other components.
All modules are 5 cm or multiples thereof (for example, 5x5).
